Human responsibility
AI may assist with analysis, recommendations, drafting, monitoring, routing, and automation, but people remain responsible for important decisions, approvals, and outcomes.
This code states the ethical commitments we expect to guide Vai-Nova’s client work, research, internal decisions, public communication, and use of artificial intelligence.
We believe capability without accountability is not responsible progress.
Our work must remain grounded in human purpose, lawful use, clear ownership, protected information, honest communication, and a willingness to correct what is not working.
AI may assist with analysis, recommendations, drafting, monitoring, routing, and automation, but people remain responsible for important decisions, approvals, and outcomes.
We will not knowingly make unsupported claims about capability, performance, security, readiness, research progress, or expected business value.
Client information remains the client’s property unless a written agreement states otherwise. We use information only for approved purposes and seek the minimum access reasonably required.
Access control, identity, network protection, logging, encryption, backup, recovery, and safe administration are considered from the beginning of a project.
Clients should understand what a system does, what information it uses, where it operates, what limitations matter, and where human review is required.
We recommend systems based on the customer’s actual need, risk, environment, and budget rather than pushing unnecessary complexity, capacity, or cost.
We will not knowingly build systems intended for unlawful access, deception, exploitation, unauthorized surveillance, avoidable harm, or the removal of required consent and accountability.
When we identify a material problem, error, or security concern, we will communicate it honestly, document what is known, and work toward a responsible correction.
Technology should support employees, customers, and communities. We will consider the human effect of automation and avoid treating people as disposable parts of a system.
Our goal is not simply to complete a build. We aim to create systems and relationships that remain understandable, supportable, secure, and worthy of trust.
Employees, contractors, clients, partners, and members of the public may raise a good-faith concern about Vai-Nova’s conduct, data handling, security, public claims, or use of AI. Concerns should be directed through the company contact information and handled without retaliation for lawful, good-faith reporting.
Vai-Nova may revise this code as our services, research, responsibilities, and understanding evolve. Changes should preserve the core commitments to honesty, human responsibility, privacy, security, respect, and long-term trust.
This code is a public statement of values and expected conduct. It does not replace signed contracts, employment policies, legal obligations, or project-specific agreements.
